Here's the scenario: A youth has nowhere to sleep and in search of safe bed. They dial shelter after shelter to no avail. The next day is the same: call after call, using up precious phone minutes. But what if there was an easier way to connect them to vital resources? Enter YSNMN (Youth Services Network - Minnesota), an application designed to serve as a resource that connects youth directly to beds, as well as outreach workers, meals, and other services such as drop-in centers, food shelves, and medical clinics. Community youth advocates (teachers, librarians, coaches) and youth services workers (shelter or drop-in center staff, counselors) will also be able to use the tool on behalf of the youth they are assisting.
