Description

We stream great music from DandelionRadio.com to your, iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, via a WiFi or 3G connection.

While you are listening, we search crowd-sourced music sites for content and links about the tracks and artists. We keep the content updated, organised and display it ready for you to browse and share with your friends.

Depending on what we can find, you'll get images, videos, social media sites, similar music, biographies, discographies and more.

We keep a list of what you have recently played. When you review recent tracks, we check for any updates to the content, keeping you up to date.

The application plays music in the background on devices that support multitasking and works beautifully with AirPlay.

On devices with a Retina Display, we automatically download larger versions of images, when available.

Warning: this app consumes a lot of data over the network, if you use it on a 3G connection, please make sure you know what charges to expect from the cell provider you are using.

DandelionRadio.com plays consistently interesting and challenging music. It is run by enthusiastic volunteers inspired by the late great John Peel, a legendary name in British music, who spent a lifetime playing un-signed artists.

Please note, this app is only suitable for adults. The station, the DJs, the artists they play and their related content found on the net are sometimes intentionally shocking.
