Description

The Free Association method is a psychoanalytic procedure for exploring the unconscious, during which an individual freely speaks about anything that comes to mind. This method is actively used in psychoanalysis, psychology, sociology, psychiatry, social work, and psycholinguistics.

Sigmund Freud and his followers believed that uncontrolled associations are projections of internal, often unconscious, content of the mind. This allows for the identification and description of affective complexes, making the associative experiment an important tool in psychoanalysis.

Sir Francis Galton was the first to conduct an associative experiment in 1879. He selected 75 words, wrote each of them on a separate card, then looked at each card and recorded the thoughts that arose. However, he chose not to publish the results, explaining that "they reveal the essence of human thought with such startling clarity that it is unlikely that it could be preserved if published."

Carl Jung used the Free Association method as a tool for detecting deception, as it helped uncover the motivations behind a person’s actions. This technique helps an individual become aware of what troubles them and begin working on resolving their psychological issues.

Now, this universal method of exploring the unconscious is available on your mobile device! The method can be used for self-psychoanalysis as well as for analyzing others. In our app, this method is enhanced with modern AI analysis, which helps to understand associations and behavioral patterns more deeply.

What the app provides:

- Awareness of influences on perception. Even if you don’t work on the word immediately, after 3-6 months, repeating the test will yield a completely different result as the associations and thoughts begin to be analyzed on an unconscious level.

- Transformational effect. With conscious perception, the individual changes their attitude. The more associations you attach to the key word, the more the chain of memories and emotions associated with it will change. The emotions that arise during associations affect the emotional coloring of future associations.

- A roadmap for further self-work. By understanding what needs to change in your perception, you can use strengths as a resource and work on areas that need improvement.

The AI analysis of your results will help you understand your associations more deeply, uncover hidden emotional responses, and receive personalized recommendations. The artificial intelligence will analyze your answers, speeding up the process of self-development and increasing your self-awareness.

We recommend combining the Free Association method with meditation to achieve maximum results.
