NORTAC Orion is an IOS app that uses cellular/Wi-Fi networks and provides GPS tracking, 2 way chat messaging, check-ins, emergency alerts and some Situational Awareness (SA) information such as Geofences, POI’s. NORTAC Orion app is to be used in conjunction with Titan by NORTAC platform.
Titan by NORTAC digitizes the Operational Space.
What it does
Titan is totally global and allows data to flow backwards and forwards between the command HQ and the tactical levels. It also allows data to flow laterally
between field units providing tactical level communications using secure, cost effective, SBD satellite channels.
What it enables
By enabling the transmission and receipt of important information, simple but structured military reports, geospatial display of deployed assets at the tactical
level, TITAN ensures that Situational Awareness (SA) and Command and Control (C2) is maintained when tactical voice radio is unavailable. This ensures
that commanders have the information they need to act intelligently whatever the voice communications situation.

- Continuous tracking: reports your position to the Titan by NORTAC platform for tracking and safety.
- Display geofences on the app to avoid or stay within certain areas.
- View points of interests to highlight important locations.
