Angina Recorder

This application has been developed to record systematically the properties of chest pains. The target population is those with coronary artery disease.

Patients may not remember exactly the characteristics of their pains when talking about their chest pains. This can make the diagnostic process difficult. With this application, informations on the history, duration, severity, relationship with exercise, pain type and need of medication for chest pain attacks can be recorded regularly. The recorded data is reported to include the last 7 and 30 days. The reports also include a chart showing the total daily angina durations. These reports can be sent to doctors via multimedia message (iMessage, WhatsApp, etc.) or e-mail, or shown on the phone screen. This can help the patient to express his / her complaints in more detail, positively affecting the diagnosis and treatment process.
