Gather Southeast

The Gather App is a Sustainable Southeast Partnership (SSP) pilot project. The purposes of this app are to improve communications between community residents that rely upon the lands and waters surrounding their communities and the agencies that are responsible for the stewardship of these lands and waters. Our hope is that through this improved communication we can facilitate the development of a robust “co-management” relationship between rural communities and these agencies, whereby growth in mutual respect and trust leads to a functional form of shared authority and an overall improvement to social, ecological and economic resilience in our region.
