AgFin Tech's Growth Calculator is an app that aims at assisting farmers of large agri commodities in calibrating their growth rate in order to avoid excessive leverage.

Excess debt derived from fast growth is a serious cause of financial distress among farmers. Calibrating growth is a challenge as farmers are not familiar with financial projections and most have do not produce financial statements to support more comprehensive analysis. This app works with conservative assumptions to project payment capacity and derive growth at a sustainable rate, indicating maximum investment in expansion and maximum debt to back the investments.

It is only an indicative and generic tool, and more specific and comprehensive analysis of individual cases. This app should not be used as a sole tool to calibrate investments, rather just as an exercise to alert farmers to the importance of analyzing investment capacity before making investment decisions.
