Play Control Lite

Description

This app is intended to be a basic controller for smart speakers with implemented Sonos Control API (reference called March 2021). No speaker management and music nor other services are implemented.
The aim of the app development was to give a second chance to mobile devices with Android 5, 6 and 7, since the original Sonos app is currently supporting only Android 8+.

The app needs access to the home network (ex. WiFi), in order to search for and control the own speakers.
The app needs access to the internet, in order to search for and download album art images. If no internet access is granted/available, the app will use a static image for the album art.
If there are Multicast issues in your network, none or part of speakers will be not found and displayed. In this case please restart the discovery function, or reactivate WiFi of your mobile device.
Tested with Sonos Play:1, Sonos Play One, Sonos Playbar and Sonos Play Sub.

Privacy policy:
The Play Control Lite app (including the wearable version) does not access any personal or sensitive data.
The Play Control Lite app (including the wearable version) is not collecting, storing or processing user data.
No location information is collected, processed, stored or forwarded by the Play Control Lite app (including the wearable version) .
