Description
This Watch Face is a symbolic illustration, an artwork, inspired by the shape and look of the James Webb Telescope to celebrate this great achievement in science, engineering and technology. It is designed for smartwatches with Wear OS by Google.
The watch face consists of digital display and polygons similar to the shape of telescope. The entire shape is actually an analog clock. Each of outer 12 polygons corresponds to the numbers 1 to 12 just like a regular clock. Each one turns on or off to reflect the current time. For instance, if the time is 22:30, then polygons #10 and #6 are highlighted and tiny beams from these polygons are reflected onto the center of the telescope. There are 6 polygons on the inner part of the shape which turn on and off one by one every second to display passage of time.
Current version of Praise Webb Watch Face has two screens (primary and secondary) which user can switch by tapping on the watch center any time. The primary screen displays current date and time and there are two places for user-selected complication such as steps count or battery percentage. The secondary screen displays current date if user choose to add a complication on the left side of the primary screen. This way, user can switch back and forth between the complications and current date.
Future updates of the watch face will include more options and features such as color themes and so forth. A dynamic version of this watch face (similar to dynamism in our other watch face, "Dynamic Elegance" ) will be released in the near future.
