Bülent Ecevit University is located in the province of Zonguldak. Zonguldak, Turkey is hosting the richest coal mines. We named our team Grizu-263 in order to keep alive the memory of 263 miners who lost their lives as a result of the grizu explosion that took place in Kozlu district of Zonguldak in 1992.
