Self Reader: Stories of Mikhail Zoshchenko in Russian & Hindi
Self Reader: M. Zoshchenko app has about 92 stories of Mikhail Zoshchenko in Russian and translated into Hindi. This app is for all those who wish to read Russian literature in Russian and Hindi. The Translation has been done by Dr. Ranjana Saxena and Dr. Sonu Saini, which was published in the form of a book in 2019. The book has a limited readership, therefore this app has been developed for all to have easy access. The app is available free of cost and without any advertisement for the convenience of the users. The app has text to speech converter, therefore the user may listen to the stories as well. You may walk and listen to the stories and enjoy the music of literature. This app is an attempt to provide the Russian literature in original and translation through digital mode.

Privacy
The app requires no special permission. It does not transmit or save any data of the user to the developer or any third party server/client. To enable the text to speech converter it may ask the permission RECORD_AUDIO. It will allow the app to read the text and provide the audio of the stories.

How to use this App
After installation the app on your Android device select any story you wish to read in Russian/Hindi. You may increase/decrease the size of the text by the size bar given at the bottom. You can also play the automated audio of the story in Russian/Hindi. The audio may be played as whole story in one go. The stories were published in 2019. The text given in the app may differ from the final version of the book due to various updates/editing in the final text. How to listen to the Stories. There are three buttons (Play-1, Play, Stop) on the top panel of the App.
1. The Play button is to get audio of whole story in one go. The Third button is to stop reading/mute the sound.
2. Enable Audio/Reading In case your mobile is not reading the text, please enable the Speech to Text option in your mobile phone. The process to enable this setting is: Open SETTINGS > GENERAL MANAGEMENT > TEXT-TO-SPEECH OUTPUT > PREFERRED ENGINE >, select GOOGLE TEXT-TO-SPEECH ENGINE.
