Description

Alergado is the app that turns any run into a good one.

You can run 1 or 100 kilometers per month, your effort will count in the common target that we must reach together month by month.

The name of the app is composed of the words Run and Donate, so every kilometer counts and turns into a donation to the cause of the month.

How does Alergado work?

Every month there is a target for all runners in Romania.

If we run the proposed distance together, then a company will donate to a charitable cause.

Each monthly challenge in Alergado will have a different social cause associated with one of the three strategic directions: education, health and environment.

It is important to reach the proposed target and to stay active throughout the year to do good in society constantly.

We aim to support both existing runners and convince more and more people to run and embrace a healthy lifestyle.

How do you use the Alergado app?

• To use the application, you need a smartphone.
• Once you've downloaded the app, you need to open it, and the first step (required!) is to connect your Strava account so that Alergado can automatically pick up your runs from there. If you don't have a Strava account, you can create one for free through the Strava app or at https://www.strava.com/.
• After connecting your Strava account, make sure you check all the boxes when authorizing Strava so that Alergado can access your runs.
• The next step is simple: you simply have to run (the application supports Run, Trail Run, Walk or Hike activities), and the kilometers traveled by you will also appear in Alergado, and they will be counted for the monthly challenge.
• Every kilometer you run is counted not only in the monthly target, but also in the National Ranking of Running for Good in the application - so you always know where you stand.
• In addition, you will receive badges for each challenge, as well as anniversary badges.
