Description

Glory for Ever contains the most beautiful Catholic paintings that can elevate your heart to praise God. There are 590 of them, 365 of which are spread over all days of the year. They do not contain any nudity, which is characteristic of painting especially since the so-called Renaissance.

All the pictures are in the public domain and come from Wikimedia Commons. They have been personally selected and manually cropped to a 3:4 aspect ratio (720 x 960 px). So they are actually fragments, and not full pictures. In addition, the colors of some of them have been improved. Each picture, however, has a link to its source where you can see the original. Moreover, a picture can be set as wallpaper or marked as beloved.

The application is under development and more paintings are planned to be added. Write to me if you want me to include a new feature or improve something.

PS. I believe in the dogma “Outside the Church There is No Salvation”, defined «ex cathedra» i.a. by Pope Innocent III at the Fourth Lateran Council in 1215: “There is indeed one universal Church of the faithful, outside of which nobody at all is saved” (Denzinger 430, PapalEncyclicals.net). Moreover, I believe that the last true Pope was Pius XII who died in 1958, and the so-called “Baptism of Desire” is a false theological speculation.
