Quests - Explorer Expeditions

Description

Quests are unmarked routes that you follow by reading rhyming clues and solving puzzles to find a treasure at the end – a special stamp confirming completion of the expedition. Quests – Explorers’ Expeditions is a network of over 1,000 quests throughout Poland (including over 30 in English), available in a mobile app and on the website www.QUESTY.org.pl

The app is a joint initiative of the Mapa Pasji Foundation and the Calamita Foundation, which is constantly being developed and updated. The current features of the app include
- over 1,000 quest routes (over 30 in English) in a mobile version and in the form of PDF leaflets,
- an advanced quest search engine with extensive filters,
- a help function (‘lifeline’) to be used in situations where GPS fails,
- a guide to selected regions of Poland with information on what to see, where to sleep, where to eat, etc.
- a user account with information about completed quests, kilometres travelled with quests, badges earned, etc.
- the ability to log in (add to results) quests completed with a leaflet,
- an extensive ranking system with the ability to see the achievements of other questers,
- quests in audio format (to listen to on the route),
- foreign language versions of the app: English, German, Ukrainian and others,
- a rating system, comments and problem reporting for quests,
- a calendar of quest events (picnics, quest launches, etc.)
- notifications about new quests and events,
- and much more.
