Description

The Ligurian Alps Park is located in the Province of Imperia, wedged between the French border and Lower Piedmont. Its approximately 6,000 hectares of land are spread over three main valleys: the Val Nervia, the Alta Valle Argentina, and the Alta Valle Arroscia.

Through paths, secondary roads and dirt roads, it is possible to move from one valley to another in the Park using ancient ridge paths that have now been restored, which offer magnificent 360 ° views of the Ligurian Alps and the sea.

About 2000 meters in altitude separate the areas further downstream from those further upstream of the protected area: the maximum altitude is reached on the summit of Monte Saccarello, which with its 2,200 meters is also the highest peak in the whole of Liguria.

- More than 40 detailed cards to discover the fauna and flora that characterize the Park;
- More than 50 cards that tell the culture, traditions and historical peculiarities of the seven municipalities falling within the territory of the Park: Rocchetta Nervina, Pigna, Triora, Montegrosso Pian Latte, Mendatica, Cosio d'Arroscia and Rezzo;
- More than 30 geo-referenced files between businesses and associations to find out about the welcome and services offered by the Park;
- More than 200 km of geo-referenced trails for practicing the outdoors in the protected area;
- An interactive map with which it is always possible to orient and navigate the Park territory;
- A News section to keep up to date on all the events and activities promoted in the area.
