Filmoteket

Description

Filmoteket is the libraries' own film streaming service. It makes it easy for you to borrow and watch films digitally with your library card without having to visit the library. It costs you nothing as this is part of the library's ordinary lending services, just like books, audio books etc. The film service is provided by Norgesfilm AS in close cooperation with the libraries.

The movie service is available anytime and anywhere. You can choose from Norwegian, Nordic, European and international titles that appeal to both children, young people, families, adults and seniors. The range is between classics, books made into films, major Oscar winners and so-called blockbusters ('big sellers') to narrower films in the arthouse/independent category. The films are selected by Filmoteket's editors and in collaboration with the libraries. You will find around 2,000 films and series to choose from, and the catalog grows every week with lots of new, exciting content.
