Radio FREEQUENNS, the free radio in the Ennstal, creates a wide range of radio programs 24 hours a day. People of all ages and social classes use the open access of free radio, create their own programs, learn media skills, digital editing technology, etc.

Free radio is non-commercial and free of advertising. We stand for open access to the medium of radio for all people and that the funds for this should mainly be provided by the public sector. The Council of Europe, the EU Parliament and the UNESCO Commission for Cultural Diversity also recommend their member states to enable and promote free radios. Who makes the program?
As a free radio, Radio FREEQUENNS offers a platform for ambitious radio makers and underrepresented groups. "On air" there is space for experiments or broadcasts that cannot be found in other radios.
