Description
In this application you can consult the bulletins for tsunami alerts generated by the Tsunami Warning Center (CAT) of the Secretary of the Navy.
The objective of the CAT is to monitor sources of seismic and sea level information, to generate and send tsunami bulletins to the other members of the National Tsunami Warning System, in order for them to take action in the event of this type of phenomenon.
We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to disseminate timely information on the generation of distant, regional and local tsunamis that affect the coasts of the national territory, and that allow saving and reducing the loss of life and property.
