The Food Products app collects information and data about food products from around the world.
Food product information (images, ingredients, nutrition facts, etc.) is collected in a collaborative manner and made available to all and for all uses in a free and open database.

These Terms and Conditions constitute a contract between the application of food products and users, shareholders and re-users.
For clarity purposes, the Terms and Conditions are divided into several sections:

"Contributors" are individuals or entities that add and / or edit content to the Site and / or Database.

To take advantage of some features, it is possible to create a personal account on the site. Users agree to enter real information upon registration and update it if it changes. Personal information is collected to enable the service and will not be sold or sent to third parties.

Accuracy of information and data provided
Application of food products does not guarantee the accuracy of the information and data on the site and in the database (included, but not limited to, product data: images, barcodes, name, generic name, quantity, packaging, trademarks, categories, assets, labels, certificates, Awards, packaging codes, ingredients, additives, allergens, effects, nutrition facts, environmental data, etc.).
Information and data are entered by the shareholders of the site. It can contain errors due to inaccurate information such as labels and packaging, manual data entry, or data processing.

Users who find errors are invited to correct them by becoming contributors. It only takes 2 minutes to register as a contributor and correct the product page.

Register as a shareholder
To add and / or modify information and data, especially product data, contributors need to register on the site.

General Contributions
All contributions and edit history are archived for general product pages. In addition, product listings added or edited by a specific user are public.


Contribution ratios
Contributors agree to be re-certified by the user through a link to the product to which they contribute.

Sources of contributions
Information and data added by contributors must come directly from the product label and packaging.
Photos added by contributors must have been taken by the contributors themselves.


Check contributions
Application of food products is not obliged to verify the accuracy and completeness of information and data.

Editions of contributions
Contributions can be edited, corrected, or completed by other contributors.
