Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Lithuania and Europe. In Lithuania, about 55 percent. all deaths are associated with cardiovascular disease, one of the main risk factors for which is physical immobility.
One of the ways to achieve real cardiovascular risk reduction results is to increase individuals' physical activity and motivation to exercise. Only individualized, objectively measured assessment of the effect of physical activity allows to follow the assigned recommendations of physical activity.
To date, no personalized physical activity surveillance model has been validated and applied in clinical practice, which would include individual patient examination, supervised physical training, training, enabling the use of smart physical activity monitoring devices, and so on. Through a series of studies and studies with patients, we have developed an effective, personalized model of physical activity care that, as a set of measures to promote physical activity, significantly improves adherence to patients' physical activity recommendations and significantly reduces their cardiovascular risk.
