Land

Medium black, light, loamy, well drained, 6.5-8.0 samu, limestone free, less than 0.1% salinity and less than 7-8% lime content is suitable for cultivation.

Improved breeds

Sai Sharbati, Phule Sharbati.

Planting spacing

6 X 6 m, the size of the pit is 1 X 1 X 1 m.

Production -

75 to 125 kg / tree (tree above 5 years)
After 4th year, apply 500 g of VAM + 100 g of phosphorus soluble bacteria + 100 g of Azospirillum + 100 g of Trichoderma harzianum without the above fertilizers. In case of micronutrient deficiency, 0.5% magnesium sulphate, 0.5% manganese sulphate 0.5% and ferrous sulphate and copper sulphate should be sprayed together.

Water management

After four years, the plants should be watered by double larvae system at 10-15 days in summer and at intervals in winter.

Intercrop

For the first 4-5 years, green gram, sorghum, groundnut, urad, Shravan Ghewda, onion, garlic, cabbage, gram, fenugreek should be taken as intercrop in two rows in open space.

Spring management

Gibberellic acid (GA3) was added at 10 ppm in June and cycoline at 1000 ppm in September for higher production of paper lemons. Spray 1% potassium nitrate solution in the month of October.

Weed management

Glyphosate (Glycell) 100-120 ml + 100-120 g urea mixed in 10 liters of water should be sprayed when weed infestation is observed.

Pest and disease control

Leaf-eating larvae - Abameptin 4 ml or Nohaluron 5 ml or Imidacloprid 2.5 ml. Or spray Thydecarb 10 gm in 10 liters of water.
