‘Safety Stepping Stone’ is the government’s representative disaster safety portal app that provides various disaster safety information needed in the event of a disaster or in everyday life. We provide a variety of information, including emergency disaster text messages, disaster news and disaster reports, locations of facilities such as civil defense shelters and hospitals and clinics, and content by type, in one ‘app’. In particular, national action guidelines for each type of disaster, such as earthquakes, can be used anytime, anywhere, even if communication is interrupted.

- Notification: Required to receive disaster text messages such as disaster information and weather warnings.
- Location: Access location information to check weather, facilities such as hospitals and civil defense evacuation facilities, and receive base station-based disaster text messages. In order to receive base station-based disaster text messages, location information is accessed even when the app is not in use.

Optional access rights require the user's permission when using the function, and even if permission is not granted, services other than the function can be used.
