Shanmukh Shivayogi is a great orator in Punyabhoomi Jewargi taluk of Sagaranad. He is another important orator of the post-Basavo era. He composed his vachanas under the pen name Akhandeshwar. Father Mallashetteppa, mother Doddamambe, place Jevaragi in Gulbarga district. Guru Akhandeshwar. Life span 1639 to 1711. Origin: Being a devotee, he became the ruler of Jevaragi Viraktamatha after his Guru. He traveled around the world and preached Dharma, and finally he united in Jevaragi. Shanmukhaswamy composed 717 verses.
