Watoji is a free portal site on Japanese culture
• The valuable topics on exhibits, artists, opportunities
• Information, who's who, search, and explore.
Opened in January 2023, for those who truly love culture in Japan and anywhere, watoji is the go-to source of quality information.
Specialized content at your fingertips
What’s happening right now? What's hot? How and where can I access it? How can I access it from where?
Follow the channels into diverse worlds of art, craft, practice, landscape, and culture for reliable information media, cultural facilities, commercial facilities, producers, writers, craftspeople, and businesses from tourism to forest conservation NPOs.
Advertising
The Watoji.jp environment is supported by advertisers, and the site and its app are free of charge to both users and information providers. Only content that contributes to culture and society is shown in advertisements. What companies are engaged in what businesses for what purpose? You are able to view these at a glance at “CSR & Advertising.”

The “Explore” channel allows keyword searches from the Japan Culture Map database to find people, places, and activities involved in cultural activities, and includes a built-in link collection that instantly shows what kinds of activities are going on.
