■What is a Residence Card?
A residence card is issued to individuals residing in Japan for the medium to long term as a result of a residence status-related permit, such as a new landing permit, a change of residence status, or an extension of period of stay.
■What is a Special Permanent Resident Certificate?
A Special Permanent Resident Certificate is issued as proof of the legal status of a special permanent resident and contains information such as name, date of birth, gender, nationality/region, place of residence, and expiration date.
