The "SBI Securities Smart App" is SBI Securities' official identity authentication app.

This app utilizes FIDO (Smartphone Authentication) technology. Even in the unlikely event that your account information is illegally obtained and accessed through malware or phishing, logins from devices other than the registered device are prevented.

For safe and secure trading, we recommend using the "SBI Securities Smart App."

■ More Secure Login Authentication Method
In addition to the traditional username and password, this app offers multi-factor authentication using identity verification information registered on your smartphone (e.g., facial recognition or fingerprint authentication).
Even if biometric authentication is not available, you can use a separately set 6-digit numeric passcode. Multi-factor authentication significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized logins by third parties.

■ Smooth Automatic Authentication (When using a single device)
After registering for authentication with this app, you do not need to launch it yourself. The app will launch automatically when you launch each product app and perform authentication.
This enhances security without adding to the hassle of tedious logins.

■Can be used on multiple devices
You can log in from devices that do not have the app installed (smartphones, tablets, PC tools, etc.). You can use FIDO (smartphone authentication) with this app by scanning the QR code displayed on the screen of each product app or by entering a request code.

■Supports identity verification when opening an account (public personal authentication)
In addition to authentication at login, this app can also be used for identity verification when applying for a comprehensive SBI Securities account (by scanning your My Number card). By installing the Smart App using the QR code displayed on the account application form, you can verify your identity when applying for an account.
*Identity verification for account applications cannot be performed if downloaded directly from the app store.

- What is FIDO authentication?
- FIDO (smartphone authentication) is a multi-factor authentication method that uses identity verification information registered on your smartphone (such as facial recognition or fingerprint authentication) in addition to passwords. It provides more secure logins than password-based authentication.

- I can't perform initial setup (authentication registration) of the Smart App.
- If phone number authentication is enabled, you must complete phone number authentication before performing the initial setup. If you have phone number authentication enabled, please call the authentication number from the phone number you registered with us and complete the phone number authentication before attempting to log in. You can find the authentication phone number on our website.

- After completing the initial setup (authentication registration), when logging in to the app, I am redirected to the App Store and cannot be authenticated.

If launching a product app does not automatically switch to the Smart app, it may be because the Smart app or the product app is hidden, or the information required for app integration has failed to be obtained. If the app is hidden, please unhide it. If it is not hidden, try restarting your device or reinstalling the app. If the issue persists, please consider contacting our Customer Service Center.

・Once you register, you will need approval from the app even when logging in from a device that does not have the app installed.
