Account Opening

◆This service applies to regular savings accounts.
*Regular savings accounts are available as web accounts (without passbook) and seal-less accounts.
◆Eligible users: Those who meet all of the following conditions.
・Individuals aged 15 or older (excluding junior high school students) who do not currently hold a regular savings account with Yokohama Bank.
・Japanese nationals who live or work near a Yokohama Bank head office or branch.
・Persons who hold a driver's license or My Number card.
*Driver's licenses and My Number cards that are invalid as identification, such as those that have expired or have not yet completed address or name changes, will not be accepted.
*Applications for business transactions or those under a trade name are not accepted.
*Applications are not accepted for foreign nationals.
We may reject your account opening request based on our comprehensive judgment.
If we are unable to open an account, we will contact you via the email address you provided when applying.
◆ Account opening is available at branches near your home address or workplace.
*If there is no branch near your home or workplace, you cannot use this service.
◆ After completing your application, your account will be opened as soon as the next business day, and your account number will be notified to you on the app screen or via push notification.
You will also receive your Yokohama Bank Card in approximately 2-3 weeks (approximately 1-2 weeks for a cash card).
* Yokohama Bank Card applications are subject to our standard screening process. If the screening results are not satisfactory, a cash card will be issued.
* Account opening may take some time depending on the application status.

*Only devices released by docomo, au, and SoftBank have been tested.
*Even if you are using the above environment, the app may not function properly due to certain device settings, such as those for Raku-Raku Phones. If it does not function properly, please try reinstalling it.

◆ Please use this app only after reviewing and agreeing to the bank's regulations and the following notes.
◆ Use of this app is free. However, separate communication charges will be incurred for using and downloading the app, which will be borne by the customer (including additional communication charges incurred for version upgrades or resetting the app due to malfunctions).
◆ When using this app, you will be required to set an "app authentication number" (a 4- to 8-digit number) to authenticate yourself. It is your responsibility to keep this number secure and prevent it from being discovered or stolen by third parties.
◆ The app's available period for viewing deposit and withdrawal details is up to 10 years for web accounts (non-passbook accounts) and up to 6 months for passbook accounts. However, if the number of statements exceeds 1,000, only the most recent 1,000 statements can be viewed.
*Statements from before the date of initial registration for Hamagin My Direct or the date an account was added to the service, or statements from before September 2019, cannot be viewed.
◆If you do not have a Hamagin My Direct (Internet banking) contract when you register for Hamagin 365, you can view statements from the 1st of the month two months prior to the inquiry date.
◆For deposit and withdrawal details for purpose deposit accounts and card loan accounts, you can view statements from the 1st of the month two months prior to the inquiry date.
◆Notes entered in deposit and withdrawal details will be deleted after the inquiry period has passed.
◆Push notifications are not real-time, so there may be a time lag. Be sure to check the latest deposit and withdrawal details on the account details screen of this app.
◆We recommend taking security measures such as installing security software and keeping your OS and browser up to date to prevent computer viruses and malicious programs from infecting your smartphone with this app installed.
◆This app may be unavailable due to system maintenance, etc.
