Description
■ An app that allows you to easily look up music terms created from the music scene
We created an app that allows you to look up on the spot just by holding the camera up when you encounter a musical term that you do not understand or suddenly appear in the score viewing scene. When you want to know it, you can search it to deepen your understanding of the song.
For the search method, you can understand the meaning and reading of the musical terms you want to know just by shooting the score with a camera. You can also search in the search box. It is also possible to search the Web directly for terms.
To use it, launch the "Music Term Finder" app and shoot the music term you want to look up with the camera. You can check it by checking the words you read and touching "Search" to search. It searches from the music term database registered in advance.
Also, even if you can not search, you can check from the translation function or translation site built into the app.
1. Search for a term from the music term database in the app.
If found, the content is displayed.
2. If not found, the in-app translation feature will work and try to translate.
When translated, the content is displayed.
3. If the translation is not possible, a link to the Google Translate site will be displayed.
Click on the link to display on the Google Translate site
Since there are 2 or 3 steps, it is possible to display the meaning other than musical terms. For example, even if you don't know the title of a song, you can take a picture to find out the meaning of the title.
In addition, depending on the printed state of the score, it may be difficult to read well, such as when the music term is taken, the characters are crushed, and the breaks in the word are hard to see on the cursive script. In that case, you can use the app to take a picture with the camera, then directly enter the term on the screen where the read word is displayed and search from "Search".
In addition, when practicing, there are times when it is difficult to receive radio waves such as underground, so we made it possible to use it as much as possible offline.
When the translation function of 2 operates, the translation data (English, Italian, etc.) will be downloaded for the first time *1 after application installation, but after that, the downloaded translation data will be used.
*1
To be precise, the data for that language (English, Italian, German, etc.) will be downloaded when you try to translate it.
We thought that the musical terms used in the score might be an important message from the composer, and we created an app to lead to a better performance with the composer's intention, so please use it.
