In order to step towards Digital India with a less cash economy, Aadhaar has been identified as the most leveraging, opportunistic and scalable
platform/infrastructure for enabling the Digital Payment in a scalable manner. More than 40 Crore Bank Accounts have already been linked with
Aadhaar and ready for transacting digitally using interoperable AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payments System).
To capitalise on this trend, NPCI has come up with a unique concept of on-boarding various payment touch points into Aadhaar enabled Merchants
through BHIM Aadhaar Pay riding on AEPS platform. UCO Bank BHIM Aadhaar Pay enables merchants to receive cashless payments from their customers.
