Description

Want to turn a recipe for 2 servings into 3? “KitchenCal” is a handy calculator just for that.

With simple controls, you can enter ingredients and adjust their amounts as needed. Want to halve or third a recipe? Just tap the 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 or x2 buttons. For other ratios, you can enter a percentage manually.

■ Copy your results
Tap the “Copy” button to copy the calculated results as plain text. You can paste and save recipes into your favorite recipe app or use them to create a shopping list.

■ Recalculate later
If you’ve saved the copied data, simply copy it again and use the “Import from clipboard” menu in this app to reload it.

■ Customize data separators
You can choose how ingredients, amounts, and units are separated (tab or space) in the settings menu. When importing from the clipboard, the app automatically detects the format.

■ Recalculate with What You Have
Just enter the amount you have for one ingredient, and the app will automatically adjust the rest!
Perfect for when the recipe says "200g," but you only have 190g on hand.

■ New Feature: Reorder Ingredients with Drag & Drop
You can now press and hold an ingredient to move it to your preferred position using drag and drop.

● How to use

1. Enter ingredients
Tap “Add” and enter up to 10 ingredients. The recipe name is optional.

2. Enter scaling ratio
Tap the “Ratio” field to input how much to scale the recipe. You can also use the 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 or x2 buttons next to the field for quick access.

3. Edit or delete ingredients
Tap the pencil icon next to an ingredient to edit or delete it.

4. Clear all ingredients
Tap the “Clear” button to delete all entered ingredients at once.

5. Copy and import recipe data
When you tap 'Copy,' the recipe data will be copied to the clipboard in the following format:

Recipe Name
Ingredient Amount Unit

(Do not include <> in the input.)

You can choose tab or space as the separator in the settings. If you copy a recipe in the same format and use “Import from clipboard,” the app will load it. The recipe name is optional.

6. Recalculate by Setting a New Amount
Tap on the amount shown after the ingredients are calculated.
Enter a new amount, and the rest of the ingredients will be recalculated automatically.

The app finds the closest possible ratio to your input, so you might sometimes see results like "149.99g" when you enter "150g."

7. Reordering Ingredients
Press and hold an ingredient to start dragging it. A blue line will appear to show where it will be dropped — simply release it at your desired position.
