Nearly 100 years after it was founded, the Histadrut continues to be the largest and most influential workers' organization in the country, as well as a leading movement that promotes equality and social justice.

The Histadrut has been signed in recent years on a series of groundbreaking social struggles. Among the organization's outstanding achievements are raising the minimum wage, protecting the pension system, shortening the working week, reducing exploitative forms of employment, promoting the employment of people with disabilities, improving work safety, and more.
