Description
A free application, that explains the meaning of German words. It uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to analyse German texts and show definitions, based on German Wiktionary.
German Visual Dictionary is easy to use and has a great user interface.
How it works:
You just take a picture of a text with your camera and the app gives you a list of its single words. Then you can tap on a word and lookup online its definition.
Features:
The app contains of three parts - All Words Dictionary, Nouns and Articles and Verbs and Prepositions.
• All Words Dictionary: Scan a piece of text to get a list of all its words. Ment to be used when online.
• Nouns and Articles: Scan a piece of text to get all contained nouns with their articles: DER DIE DAS. Works offline.
• Verbs and Prepositions: Scan a piece of text to get all contained verbs with specific preposition and translation. Works offline.
