S4V Saccadic

Description

SmarThings4Vision has a series of S4V APPS applications aimed at training specific visual skills. The development of the S4V APPS has been carried out by eye care professionals with the aim of providing tools for patients to work outside the office.
S4V Saccadic is indicated for training saccades.
Saccades are eye movements related to the movement of objects and are of great importance in reading.
The application is managed by performance levels based on the combination of different amplitudes (mm) and different frequencies (cic / s)
When you press play, a circular stimulus will appear on the screen. At any given time, the circular stimulus will change to a series of 4 numbers or capital letters (depending on the stimulus chosen). The user must memorize that series and, when the exercise is finished, a keyboard will be shown to enter the memorized series and check if it is correct.
As you exercise, the app shows you your level of accomplishment, and its range and speed, so you can keep track of your accomplishments.
The application allows modifying the following variables:
- Stimulus used: numbers or capital letters
- Type of movement direction: linear or diffuse.
- Mode of implementation: monocular, binocular (anaglyph glasses) or monocular in binocular field (anaglyph glasses)
- Metronome: activate or mute

Glasses
The application is designed to be used with RED / BLUE anaglyph glasses that have the red filter on the left eye. In this way we will be correctly training visual skills as indicated by the application.
In the Settings, the option to calibrate the colors of the screen is provided to adjust them as much as possible to the glasses that the user is going to use. Through a simple procedure, the combination that best fits the glasses you want to use is sought.
