WIDHOC is a Spin-off of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) in the field of ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) with headquarters in the Parque Tecnológico de Fuente Álamo (CEDIT).
Our main line of business is dedicated to the development of intelligent irrigation support systems. The objective is to provide the farmer with more information on the soil conditions of his crop, the quality of the irrigation water and the water status of the plant. All this to optimize resources, mainly irrigation water.

How do we obtain information from your crop to achieve an optimization of your resources?

We use our own development system, wireless so it does not interfere with agricultural work, it is a completely autonomous system equipped with solar panels and its cost is also reduced compared to traditional wired systems. The crop information measured by this equipment is available to the user through a web application. WIDHOC also offers scientific advice from experts Agronomists.

The company also has experience in wireless technologies in other fields such as oceanography and environment. The WIDHOC R&D department is in continuous development to adapt to market needs.
