The Museum is installed in the Palace that was the residence of Guilherme Stephens, an elegant building from the 19th century. XVIII, of neoclassical inspiration integrated in elegant gardens designed according to the English model. Access is via an iron gate, also in the 18th century, where you can still see the bell that once called the workers to work.

 

The collection consists of artistic glazing, old glass that dates back to the factory's foundation, admirable collections of bowls, jars, jars and other pieces of cut crystal and also pieces from various national manufacturing centers, produced between the century. XVII and the century. XX.

 

They are also represented in a scenic environment, a factory space and a small domestic workshop, with objects related to the manufacture of glass. In the various rooms you can also see paintings, furniture, documents, books and other objects related to the history of glass in Portugal.
