Description

Intestine Check is for those who have had a binocular examination of the intestine (colonoscopy) at Herlev Hospital. Prior to the binocular examination, you must go through a cleansing process of your gut.

The app calculates your cleansing process based on your survey time. During the cleansing process, you should consume cleanser at certain times and avoid certain food items. The app gives you a timeline with overview and reminders of when to remember the individual tasks.

You can find the date of the examination in your inquiry call, which is sent to your e-box.

In TarmTjek you will also find inspiration for recipes, information about the binocular examination and will be introduced to the medicine offered during the study.

Be aware that the app is not a treatment tool and that the responsibility for treatment lies with your treating physician. If you have any questions about your cleansing process or treatment, contact the Capital Region (you will find contact information in the app or your call).
