Description
With DBI Certificates, you can easily and securely document and present your hot work certificate. Our app makes it convenient for you to have your certificate at your fingertips when you need it.
• Easy access to your certificate: Enter your certificate number and birthday the first time you use the app to view your certificate. The certificate number is issued either by DBI or your course provider upon passing the hot work course.
• View different certificates: The app allows you to view the following certificates:
o Fire precautions for spark-producing tools
o Fire precautions during roofing work
o Fire measures for weed burning
o Approved instructor in hot work
• Your physical and digital certificate: Your physical certificate and the certificate in the app are equal. You can choose to have both or just one of them.
• Valid in several countries: The certificate is valid for 5 years in Denmark, but also in Norway and Finland, where the certificate is required to perform hot work. Our course also follows CFPA Europe's training program and CFPA Guideline No. 12.
• Certificate renewal: When your certificate expires after 5 years, you must pass a new hot work course to renew your certificate. You will be assigned a new certificate number, which must be registered in the app.
In order to be issued the hot work certificate, the following must be fulfilled:
For students:
Teaching material on the course is based on DBI Guideline 10, and the instructor is a DBI-approved instructor in Hot Work.
The certificate holder has fulfilled the following conditions:
• Completed the hot work course of at least 1 day's duration incl. the mandatory practical part with hand extinguishing work
• Passed the individual multiple choice test, and is verified as the right person in connection with the test
The following conditions are met when issuing the instructor certificate:
• The teaching material is based on DBI Guideline 10
• The lecturers regularly go through an instructor course at DBI with the possibility of vocational training
sparring
• The teaching time is at least 1 day long, including the mandatory practical part with hand extinguishing work
