Anti-infectives are an essential pillar in the treatment of infections. Due to the increasingly explosive resistance situation and the consequent increasingly restricted treatment options, an optimization of the anti-infectives prescription is becoming more and more important in our clinic as well. .

In this APP, all information relating to the prescription and handling of anti-infectives is made available centrally. In addition to the recommendations for calculated therapy and prophylaxis, which are adapted to the pathogen and resistance situation in our clinic, it also contains information on microbiological diagnostics, important hygiene standards and the listed anti-infectives.

The APP was created under the leadership of the ABS team and the Antibiotics Guideline Commission for the inpatient area and is only intended for use in the UKGM, Marburg location. It is not a substitute for careful clinical assessment of the patient and individual adaptation of therapy in justified cases.
