The PANTABOX energy manager connects your wallbox with the PV system and increases your own consumption.



Why PV surplus charging?

• The feed-in tariff is unattractive in most countries.

• The economic efficiency of a PV system increases significantly with your own consumption. For “homemade” electricity, network fees, taxes and other fees are waived. The self-sufficiency rate therefore has a significant influence on the economic viability of the PV system.

• With “homemade” electricity, it is guaranteed that the car will be charged with green electricity.

• When commissioning the energy manager, the user can configure his PV system.


Integrated dynamic charging management

Distributing the available power across all charging points is known as load or charging management. Even if you operate more than one wallbox at the same time, you can rest assured that the maximum connection power will not be exceeded. Depending on the selected target load, the loads are even adjusted dynamically.


Integrated blackout protection

Regardless of the mode selected, active charging processes are always operated below the set load limit.


Plug and forget

The energy manager app is a very simple smartphone app for installing, configuring and operating wallboxes that are controlled via the PANTABOX energy manager. The app can be seen as an “extension of the wallbox”:


As soon as a vehicle is connected to the wallbox, the app sends a push notification. The charging target can then be set using very simple rotary controls. There are three controls:

• How 'full' is the car right now (State of Charge in %)

• How 'full' should the car be (target State of Charge in %)

• When do I need the vehicle again (time)

An optimal charging profile is automatically calculated and the charging goal is achieved in any case.
