Dear Participants,

We warmly welcome you to the BHB Congress 2025!

In a year marked by even greater challenges, we want to come together not only to analyze and discuss, but also to develop perspectives and look optimistically to the future.

Endangered democracies, an often sobering economic situation, a government that seems paralyzed – but also the ongoing construction crisis, high financing costs, and persistent inflation in many sectors present us all with enormous challenges. Projects are being postponed, customers are reconsidering investments, and many companies are feeling these effects directly. Therefore, it is especially important in such times to be aware of our own strengths: Even if the headwinds are strong – we have the know-how, the experience, and the innovative power to stay the course.

The DIY sector is far more than just an economic sector – it shapes living spaces, enables self-realization, and brings people together with their ideas. Every renovated room, every newly landscaped garden, every modernized terrace embodies a sense of optimism – and a willingness to shape the future.

As we never tire of emphasizing: The change we are experiencing also presents opportunities. Let's use this BHB Congress to learn from one another, gather new inspiration, and cultivate the exchange that strengthens us. We have put together a program that inspires and goes far beyond simply listening – one that encourages you all to participate, discuss, and take action. Because that's precisely what makes the difference.
