The FiftyFifty Taxi offers safe and affordable rides home for young adults up to 25 years old on Fridays and Saturdays, and on the evenings before public holidays, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning in the Ostalb district. It's a FiftyFifty deal: you only pay half the fare. The other half is covered by the Ostalb district administration and numerous partners and sponsors.
How does it work? It's simple! First, register once within the app with the Ostalb district administration to use the Disco Taxi. When you get in the taxi, show your eligibility card (stored in the app), create a new trip, and upon arrival at your destination, enter the taxi's registration number, the fare, and the number of passengers. Save the trip and pay half the fare in cash. This applies regardless of the number of passengers.
