Description

A small and simple astro tool for setting a polar wedge in the northern and southern hemispheres.

It provides a compass for determining the magnetic north pole, or south pole (if desired).

It also offers a spirit level with a round vial and a beam balance. So the tripod and the mount can be set up correctly.

If you want to set up a simple wedge as a polar cradle, you can either read the angle of the slope as text or simply read off the slope display. The incline display has a simple spirit level design.

If you want to set up your mount with a polar finder, this tool offers a display that shows where the Pole Star is in relation to the celestial pole. This display is held in a simplified view of a polar finder.

You can simply calibrate the spirit level so that it works correctly. Simply place the smartphone on a horizontal position and start the calibration with the button. The calibration is saved so that the tool is always ready for use from this point on. The compass must be calibrated according to the manufacturer's instructions for the smartphone.

This tool offers day and night vision. It is easy to read during the day and the eyes keep their dark adaptation at night. These settings are fixed on request, or dynamic in automatic mode (light sensor required).

In order to be able to see details more precisely, the round displays can be enlarged. Simply tap on the desired ad. To return to the previous overview, simply tap it again.

Polar alignment becomes a piece of cake.
