Free services in the HOFER app:
• The entire offer in one place: Never miss our special offers again and always be informed about discounted products.
• Shopping list: Writing a shopping list by hand is a thing of the past. Create your own wish list in the app and add your favorite products.
• Convenient store locator: Find information about HOFER stores near you and their current opening hours.
• Stock check: Quickly and easily check which stores have the product you want in stock.
Permissions:
*Network communication: This permission is mainly used to display current special offers and store information. No user data will be sent. You can find more information in our Privacy Policy. Before displaying the current information, a check is made to see whether a data connection is established. If a connection is not established, a warning appears.
*System startup: When you restart your smartphone, all reminders in the app were previously deleted. With this new permission, reminders are recorded in the system again every time you restart your phone.
*Access to protected storage: With this permission, you allow the HOFER app to cache Google Maps. The HOFER app itself does not access external storage.
*Approximate location: Using GPS requires a relatively large amount of processing power. Therefore, the HOFER app initially uses other positioning options when searching for nearby stores.
*Your location: GPS positioning is required to search for nearby stores.
