As a contact and information point for self-help, KIS collects information and helps to develop self-help offers. In self-help groups, people can share their experiences and thus support one another. Nobody is left alone with their concerns. Life situations that raise questions can be better mastered together. Self-help is open to people who have an illness, who are looking for people who are equally affected or who want to cope with a life crisis. The topics are as diverse as life. KIS mediates contacts with existing groups, helps to found groups and makes the self-help idea better known through public relations. We are committed to a self-help-friendly climate in our society.
