Description
The “Seafarer's companion” has been written by professionals for professionals, and is designed to help managers and crew members recognise and assess hazardous situations. While, in practice, it cannot replace independent, responsible actions by the individual, it can help prepare for everyday or hazardous operations and situations so that the right action can be taken. Its modular structure enables you to quickly find concise information, as well as numerous illustrations describing the essential concepts.
The notepad function allows the most important information on events relevant to security, especially accidents, to be recorded. Texts and images may serve as memory aids when preparing accident reports.
Experience, knowledge and the abilities of each individual continue to be crucial to ensure occupational health and safety on board!
