Description

Near Here starts by showing any sort of place near you.

Tap the microphone symbol and say where you want to go or what you want to find and it will look further to find your target.

You'll get a list of nearby place names which match your search term with a pointer and distance for each place. Every pointer and distance adjusts as you turn and move so that it is always up to date.

Tap on any of the places to expand and get that site’s phone number and website link.

Tap on any pointer to see a scaled and oriented map of you and your target destination. The map adjusts as you turn and move so that it is always up to date.

You can say pretty much anything as your search term:

* Category examples: Breakfast, Bar, Train Station , Cinema, Grocery

* Specific examples: London Aquarium, Kings Arms, Harrods

* A street or street address: Bond Street, 20 Old Bond Street (street numbers are often on the database even when they're not on the buildings so the pointer can tell you which way to walk down the street when you can't see any numbers)

Don't add "local" before or "near me" or close to me" or "around me" or "near here" after your search term. Just say the name of the category or place.
