In the twentieth century, the world heard the voice of Ala-Too, the voice of the Kyrgyz people performed by Bulat Minzhilkieva. His unique voice, conquering many theaters of the world, and today he praises his power, plasticity and amazing ability to give joy to listeners. The painstaking way and perseverance in achieving this goal helped him to become an outstanding singer of opera. Bulat Minzhilkiev is one of the best bass of modernity. He is one of the first Kyrgyz singers to be able to declare himself as a vocalist of the highest class.


The path to the top of creativity

Bulat Minzhilkieva's path to the pinnacle of creativity was long and difficult. Only one school gave him twelve years of his life (studio, conservatory, internship in Italy). At the age of 25 he became a vocalist on the stage of the 241st opera house, at the age of 28 he performed brilliantly at the All-Union Festival of Young Opera Singers, at the age of 36 he became a People's Artist of the Soviet Union.

Despite the obvious talent of Bulat, he was going to become a geologist. At the age of 16 Bulat successfully passed the necessary standards and received the qualification of a drilling master. However, his life was organized in his own way, Bulat became not a geologist, but a famous opera singer and cameraman.


Bulat Minzhilkiev died in the blossoming of creative forces. He left this world at the age of 57 years. There were many unfulfilled plans and projects. Dozens of performances were planned with his participation in Europe and America. But the fate was decided in its own way.

Today the name of Bulat Minzhilkieva is inscribed in golden letters in the history of the Kyrgyz theater, world opera. The memory of a great singer and a man lives in the hearts of a thousand people
