Description

Rotaract Club of Biratnagar, founded in 2004, owes its establishment and ongoing support to the benevolent Rotary Club of Biratnagar. This enduring partnership reflects Rotary's commitment to nurturing young leaders and fostering a spirit of service within the community.

In alignment with the overarching goals of Rotaract, the club operates diligently across four distinct avenues: Club Service, Community Service, International Service, and Professional Development. These avenues serve as the pillars upon which the club's activities and initiatives, closely tied to Rotaract 3141, are built, ensuring a well-rounded and impactful approach to community engagement.

As we embark on the Rota-Year 2023/24, the club, associated with Rac and Biratnagar district, is led by the dynamic President, Rtr. Sajal Subedi. His vision and leadership promise to elevate the club's impact and outreach, bringing fresh energy and ideas to the forefront.

The club's charter date, December 20th, 2004, marks its official joining of the global Rotaract movement. Since then, it has been an active and integral part of the community, working hand in hand with the Rotary Club of Biratnagar to make a positive difference.

In addition to its close ties with the Rotary Club, the Rotaract Club of Biratnagar maintains connections with various other clubs, including its twin clubs: Rotaract Club of People's Campus, Rotaract Club of Rupandehi, and Rotaract Club of SDMCA UDUPI. This network of partnerships, deeply rooted in the distric, extends its reach and resources, enabling a broader impact.

The club also plays a significant role in youth engagement through its Interact Club of Araniko, fostering leadership skills and community awareness among young students.

With an active membership of 27 dedicated individuals and a wealth of experience gained from participating in 6 events and generating 528 reports, the Rotaract Club of Biratnagar stands as a testament to the power of youth-driven initiatives in bringing about meaningful change.

Meetings, a cornerstone of the club's activities, are held on Saturday mornings at 8:00 AM. These meetings provide members with a platform to collaborate, plan, and strategize for upcoming projects, ensuring the club's continued success in serving the community.

In summary, the Rotaract Club of Biratnagar, closely associated with Rotaract 3141, Rac, and the Biratnagar district, is a vibrant and dedicated organization that remains committed to making a positive impact in its community and beyond through its four avenues of service. Under the leadership of President Rtr. Sajal Subedi, it looks forward to an exciting and productive Rota-Year 2023/24.
