Description
This is part of an ancient Tamil literature on medicine called "Theraiyar Kappiam" i.e தேரையர் காப்பியம். It gives some items of daily use as a medicine.
The app is in Tamil. It has been indexed by name of herbs and disease. One should exercise caution as some of the herbs are poisonous and may be dangerous. Caution should be exercised while using any of them though majority are items of daily use in cooking.
The main objective is to help the people in the villages who lack proper medical facility and have to run to the nearest town or the capital of the state for treatment. Since net coverage is poor and education level is not much, through mobiles, a vast majority can access this with the help of their children.
This is our second app on 'Indian Literature' and 'nature cure' after Kural Medicine. Soon, we will publish an English version.
