Description

STEMS Welfare Association has been formed with a view mainly (apart from other social service activities) to provide housing to its members. The members are basically among the employees of Public /Private sectors, Insurance, State /Central government organizations situated in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The facilities are also extended to the relatives /friends those who reside across the world at present. Our Association is creating a peaceful living atmosphere with “Likeminded people”.
The driving force behind taking up the housing activity is acquiring experience while working in Employees’ Consumer Cooperative Stores and Credit & Thrift Societies in various Public Sector Undertakings, receiving expert guidance from such personalities regularly. Also, with a demand from our members to have similar service in housing area to avail mutual benefit among members.
STEMS Welfare Association will also carry out the following social service activities jointly with other civil society organizations.
1. To provide quality education in Tribal area of Visakhapatnam District, A.P.
2. To provide safe drinking water through Gravity Water Supply Schemes (Jaladhara)
3. To organize mobile awareness programs very often in Tribal areas on “Abolition child marriages”, “malnutrition” and such social issues.
4. To organize medical camps in Tribal areas
